The main entrance into the Belfast Castle Demesne is now where Innisfayle Park meets Downview Park West, just off the Antrim Road (part of the A6).
After showing us around his hometown of Belfast, Northern Ireland, Flickr friend Rodney Harrison brought us over to his house to check out the gardens. My shasta daisies gave up the ghost over a month ago in the extreme heat we've experienced over the last month here in North Carolina. Joyce and I have been considering summers at his place to escape the heat here... the average day temps in Ireland while we were there works out to 65°F (18.3°C). Looks like he has enough room!
And, yes, I am kidding here... this isn't really Rodney's house. On my Facebook post of this image Rodney pointed that this was his "staff quarters"... Rodney's a hoot!
