20 minutes walk from Cala Figuera, we found this great spot "Torre den Beu", which is right in my back at that shot. From there you can overlook the steep cliffs of the area. The pretty rough sea that day was a good chance to test my new ND-Filter system from Hoya for the Tamron 15-30mm lens.

Cap de Formentor forms the eastern end of Majorca's Formentor peninsula.

Son Marroig ist ein Herrenhaus auf Mallorca. Es liegt zwischen Sóller und Valldemossa bei Deià. Früher im Besitz des österreichischen Erzherzogs Ludwig Salvator, ist dort seit 1928 ein Museum mit Stücken aus dem Besitz Ludwig Salvators, darunter historische Möbel, Keramiken und mallorquinische Gemälde des 17. bis 19. Jahrhunderts, untergebracht. Um den Sonnenuntergang bei diesem kleinen Tempel aus Carrara Marmor bewundern zu können muss man 4 Euro Eintitt springen lassen.

Diese berühmte Ansicht von Son Marroig findet sich in fast jedem Mallorca Reiseführer. Nachdem wir den Eintritt zum Museum bezahlt hatten, waren wir ziemlich enttäuscht, als wir den Zugang zur Terrasse versperrt vorfanden. Doch mit etwas Überredungskunst gelang es uns den Wärter zum Öffnen der Tür zu bewegen. Ungestört konnten wir nun bis zum Sonnenuntergang fotografieren. 3 Raw's in PS überblendet.

Der Königspalast Palacio de la Almudaina ist Sitz der Militärkommandantur und zugleich Amtssitz des spanischen Königs. von der Terrasse und den Fenstern hat man einen wunderbaren Blick auf den Hafen und den sogenannte Königsgarten. Das gute am Regen.....die Pracht kann sich noch einmal spiegeln. Dies war was letzte Foto, bevor Dauerregen unsere Fototour in Palma endgültig beendete.

One of my favorite photos from last year, showing the famous Formentor Lighthouse on Mallorca.

After an hour of stumbling through the dark across those sharp rocks you see in the foreground I found a proper composition just in time for two cars to drive to the lighthouse.

I got very lucky, because those were the only cars that morning and I find this photo needs lighttrails.
