During my short trip to France, after Paris I went down to Bordeaux where I had the great pleasure to finally meet a very long time flickr friend, Anne-Marie.
I was treated like a king, with excellent food and wine, and she also took me to many places for photography. I also made two new photographer friends there, Christophe and Jean-Marie.
This long exposure shot was taken on a beach about 70 kms south west of Bordeaux. This structure is called 'Wharf de la Salie' and is used to convey inland used (polluted) water to the sea. Unfortunately not a good thing for the environment.
