Moraine lake

Moraine Lake is a stunning glacially-fed lake located in Banff National Park, Alberta, Canada. The lake is surrounded by towering mountains and is known for its crystal-clear turquoise waters, making it a popular destination for photographers. The lake is situated in the Valley of the Ten Peaks, which provides a breathtaking backdrop for any photo. The best time to capture the beauty of Moraine Lake is during the early morning or late evening when the light is soft and the colors are at their most vibrant. There are several photography locations around the lake, including the Rockpile Trail, which offers a panoramic view of the lake and surrounding mountains. Other popular spots include the shoreline, canoe dock, and the nearby Larch Valley. Moraine Lake is a must-visit destination for any nature lover or photographer looking to capture the beauty of the Canadian Rockies.

One of the views I was looking forward to photographing while I was in Canada, was Lake Moraine. So I got to the right spot on an early clear morning. However, the wind was blowing and the morning light never seemed to be just right. But in spite of being disappointed, I think I need to post this one to complete the series I have of Canada.
