After the 1.6 second...
Early morning on a deserted Place des Hero's with magical light and colours.
The beautiful and symmetric Place des Hero's in Arras, was high on my photo wish list. So my heart sank when I arrived on a warm Saturday afternoon and saw the place flooded with people enjoying a drink in one of the many sidewalk cafés that spilled onto the square. So the only thing to do was to join them for a drink and keep the gear in the bag. However, much to my surprise, the early morning blue hour offered me a second change. The people, the outdoor seating had all disappeared. The square had just been swept clean, and hooray all the spotlights and floodlights that light up the place so perfectly, were still on. So I had a perfect pre-breakfast blue hour, before the morning mist took over.
