Petra

Petra, located in the southwestern region of Jordan, is a historical and archaeological city that dates back to the 3rd century BC. It is known for its unique rock-cut architecture and is considered one of the most famous and visited tourist destinations in the world. Petra is a photographer's paradise, with its stunning landscapes, ancient ruins, and intricate carvings. The Treasury, the Monastery, and the Siq are some of the most popular photography locations in Petra. The city's rose-colored sandstone cliffs and the play of light and shadow create a magical atmosphere that is perfect for capturing stunning photographs.

PINK WILD DESERT FLOWERS growing in PETRA. In the background appears the beautiful Nabateaen Ampitheater which is carved right from the mountain rock. It's a little different from the other ancient theaters in Jordan because of its (grand) setting and the pinkish-red color. Surrounded by a lot of small Nabataean tombs, affirming that it's a part of Petra. The panoramic views of this place from the trek to the Treasury viewpoint are also spectacular.
