Philae Temple

Philae Temple is a stunning ancient temple located on an island in the Nile River in Assouan, Egypt. This temple was dedicated to the goddess Isis and was built during the Ptolemaic dynasty. Templo de Isis, de época ptolemaica, antiguamente emplazado en la isla de Filé pero que tuvo que ser trasladado junto con las otras construcciones de la isla antes de la construcción de la presa de Asuan. Junto con otros monumentos nubios es Patrimonio de la Humanidad desde 1979.
