A masterpiece of baroque architecture, the Duomo of San Giorgio, located at the Piazza Duomo, wich is the busiest place of Ragusa Ibla with lots of shops and restaurants.

.... is the main square of the completely renovated historical center of Syracuse the "Ortigia". Most prominent building is the " Cattedrale metropolitana della Natività di Maria Santissima" the cathedral of Syracuse. All buildings made of typical white sandstone, a wonderful contrast to the blue evening sky.
