Playa de Campiecho
Several months since my last uploaded photo here in Flickr.
I took this photo a few months ago in the famous beach of Gueirua in the coast of Asturias. Hope you like it.
Once again with my friend Javier Alonso.
This is one of the most spectacular places in the coast of Asturias and probably in the whole Cantabric coast in the north of Spain. Located very close to the village of Santa Marina and near to the famous village of Cudillero, the beach of Gueirua is simply amazing, a place to go if you like coastal landscapes for photography.
I recently visited this place (for the second time) with my friends Gonzalo Gutiérrez, Jose F. López, Javier Alonso and Ricardo Hueso and we really enjoyed taking some photos during the nice sunset we had. The walk down to the beach and the return up to the village is not easy but it contributes to increase the magic of the place.
I hope you like this shot including the famous paralel rocks of the place in the background and the small waterfall in the foreground. The sun rays were reflecting on the clouds for a few minutes before sunset, we were really lucky with the ligth in that ocassion.
I took this photo in Asturias, near the famous village of Cudillero during the workshop of North Photo Tours last weekend, a great experience. Hope you like it.

A difficult shot to take, especially as I had driven over an hour before I realised I had forgotten my tripod. Fortunately at the viewpoint there was a large trash can that could support my camera, but I will always remember this as a 'smelly' shot.
