Langevin River, Reunion Island.

The light was very harsh (it was almost noon), so I had to use Digital Blending with 7 exposures to get a decent lighting. I used a ND400 filter for the water, which gave me a shutter speed of 76 seconds at f/22.

Pointe au Sel, Reunion Island. Nikon D850 | Nikkor 16mm f/2.8 Fisheye Once again my fisheye lens was very handy to capture the full rift. Trying to do a panorama with a conventional lens would have been very challenging! I took over 200 exposures of the same composition at multiple shutter speeds and apertures to finally selected 5 to blend them.

There were ideal conditions that night: clear skies, and enough moonlight on my back to light the landscape, but not strong enough to weaken the Milky Way. Panorama shot with the Nikon D850 & Nikkor 19mm Tilt Shift.

A slightly re-worked version of a shot I posted previously. A distracting tree was removed on the left, and I blurred the sky to smooth it.

My first Milky Way of the year, shot in the south hemisphere, Reunion Island. People from the north hemisphere will have to wait a little more. What you see on the horizon are the first colors and light of sunrise. Very quickly the Milky Way will fade away.

Along the rugged coastline of Réunion Island you can find some lovely tidal pool with beautiful corals.

Shot from the location called 'Le Maido' (elevation 2000 meters) in Reunion Island. The light below the sea of clouds is coming from the coastal city of Saint Paul. When I am in Reunion Island, I usually shoot a lot from this place, because this is the closest good sunset spot from where I live, and there are also a lot of possible compositions. When I shoot seascapes, I always use NiSi filters, for this one I stacked a CPL, GND16 and ND64
