Nice to be back on Flickr after quite a long break! I am back from a business trip to Singapore, but fortunately I had time to meet lots of flickr/facebook friends and shoot some amazing cityscapes.
I will start with this one, shot from the Marina Bay Sands Skypark.
Tripods are not allowed up there, therefore I used a Gorillapod which was very handy indeed, and I was quite nicely surprised with the results.
Nikon D300 + Nikkor Fisheye 10.5mm f/2.8, 7 exposures Digital Blending.
Wish you all a Happy Easter!

A beautiful rocky coastline just next to our hotel. It was such a great discovery, since I had only a rough idea of how this coast would look next to the normal beaches and hotels. Nearly every morning and evening I explored the rocky coast there and this evening finally the light was as I had wished for. Most evenings clouds would completely line the horizon and hide the sun long before sunset. But here everything fell into place.

After a very very very long absence on Flickr, I have decided to start posting again! Hope that there are still people following me here! And I am glad to start with a recent shot from Singapore. It was shot from the Sky Park on top of Marina Bay Sands, during the NPD (National Parade Day) fireworks rehearsal. There are fireworks rehearsal every Saturday, what a great attention for the photographers community! :-) Regarding Flickr, it all started in Singapore 9 years ago when started to post here, and at that time I would have never ever thought that photography would eventually became a full time job!
