The iconic Petronas Towers taken from the Sky bar of the Traders Hotel. No tripods are allowed, but you can balance your camera on a ledge.

My third take at this very cool bar located on the 32th floor of the Traders Hotel in Kuaka Lumpur. Taken from the 33rd floor where the spa is located (on the left).
No tripod, camera on the railing, 5 exposures (1/25 to 1/2 sec) at f/4 ISO 1600 shot with Sigma10-20mm. Processed by digital blending using Smart Objects.

Shot taken during my Digital Blending Photowalk session in Kuala Lumpur last week.
This is a Vertical Panorama made with 3 shots (each shot is a Digital Blending of 3 exposures). The 3 shots are then stitched horizontally.

Some fast moving clouds last night over KLCC, took the opportunity to take that shot.
More KL shots in my Malaysia Set, or night cityscapes in my Night Photography Set.

Iconic view of Kuala Lumpur during sunset, from the Sky Bar in the Traders Hotel.
Just another add-on to my 'looking up' series of the Petronas Towers! I have a couple more to come! I could not have composed those shots without my angle view finder, since the camera was on the tripod 30 cm from the floor.
Taken during a late night outing in KLCC with buddies Rajesh and Sai. After that, we only had 4 hours to sleep before going to a sunrise shooting!
Some tech info: The sky is originally greyish, the blue color was obtained by changing the temperature to tungsten. The light beams were made more visible by increasing the black level (all done in Adobe Camera Raw).

Another looking up view around the Petronas Towers. I guess I've not explored all the angles yet!

An enjoyable blue hour shooting in Kuala Lumpur with my flickr buddies Virginie, Vedd, Aaron and Mirsham.
The As Syakirin Mosque and the Petronas Towers.
Digital Blending + Vertorama
As a side note, I would like to thank all my flickr friends & followers who have helped me to reach 6,000,000 views on my photostream!
I am back from a short trip to Kuala Lumpur, which explains my absence on flickr for the past few days. I had the great opportunity to meet local flicker buddies Vedd and Ariffin. We had a great time, special thanks to Vedd for driving me around all over the place until late night!
I am traveling again tomorrow, this time for the Christmas holidays. I'll be able to access flickr from time to time. I wish you all a Merry Christmas, and a Happy New Year! All the Best for 2008!!!
This shot is a Vertorama (vertical panorama), composed of two shots taken with my Tamron11-18mm. Also did some Digital Blending to balance the exposure.
More long exposure shots in my Night Photography Set.

L for the ultimate ultra wide angle view of KLCC!
After my two previous Indonesian landscape shots, I am temporarily back to Cityscape mode :)
Shot from the Sky Bar of the Traders Hotel where I was staying during my last trip. Not the best morning light I must say.
This is a 5 exposures tone-mapped HDR, I am currently trying the latest HDR software on the block, called Oloneo PhotoEngine. I must say that I am quite impressed.
Shot with Nikkor 10.5mm Fisheye, and then de-fisheyed.

An old shot, during an early morning outing in Kuala Lumpur last year with my buddies Rajesh, Saireel, Ariffin and Irwanizam.
We shot from the famous Pekeliling abandoned complex, full of aggressive mosquitoes.
I've been working on this shot quite a long time, was never satisfied with the results, until the 4th iteration of processing, I hope you like it.
Digital Blending mixing normal exposures and exposures with ND400 filter.

The famous Petronas Towers seen from the Sky Bar of the Traders Hotel at sunset (no tripods allowed).
More Kuala Lumpur shots in my Malaysia Set, or night cityscapes in my Night Photography Set.
My complete HDR collection.
I am currently having a short trip to Singapore and Kuala Lumpur. In KL, we had a big reunion with my buddies from Singapore, Rajesh and Sai, and from KL, Virginie, Vedd, Acidsulfurik, Dashuki, Firdaus, Muhammad, Irwanizam.
It was my first outing with so many flickr friends and we had a wonderful time. More shots to come indeed!
Special thanks to Rajesh for driving Sai and I all the way from Singapore to KL!
Technical info for this shot: 6 exposures Digital Blending & Vertorama. The stitching was done manually and was quite tedious because of the optical distortions for the upper part of the towers. It took me over 2 hours to process the shot.
