Skofja Loka

Another Sunrise attempt to photograph a church in Slovenia. This spot, with a view over Sv Tomaz is actually very popular. No angry farmers here, just a road side spot and about 8 other photographers. Two years ago I stood in the same spot trying to get a good Sunset view. This is one of many picturesque, hilltop churches, that lie dotted over the Slovenian countryside.

One of the best things about Slovenia is the many pretty churches, located on such picturesque locations. This was one of my favourite views, even though the mountains in the background are quite hazy.
