Lake Sonoma on a Winter evening from the high platform at the outlook point. I took shot while on vacation with my wife at Sonoma wine country. we were staying at a beautiful bed&breakfast and while playing around with Google maps I found that Lake Sonoma was actually pretty close by and convinced my wife to take a trip around that area to see if there is any good view.
We found this scenic outlook with a two storied wooden platform overlooking the lake and sun beautifully lighting up the clouds. it was very windy at the top platform and I had to hold on to the tripod and the camera just make sure that they didn't end up in the Lake. I wish I had the presence of mind to use my Lee Big Stopper here that would have created some nice movement among the clouds. There is always a next time.
