Bonnington Linn waterfall (with a drop of 30 feet) sits at the highest point of the Falls of Clyde at the New Lanark Heritage Centre, Scotland. There are 4 Linn (Scots: waterfalls) in total, namely Bonnington, Corra (highest drop 84Ft.) Dundaff and Stonebyres being the lowest of the falls. There is a visitor centre at New Lanark which is well worth a visit, but the walk from the centre up along the footpath to Bonnington Linn is a must, especially when the river is in Spate, as the pounding water and Gorge views are not to be missed.

More experimenting and messing around with PS and trees! Moved the point of view from the last shot but still wanted the path to be the dominant feature/lead in, I promise this is the last from this trip!
Had a short trip through to Lanarkshire and took a walk along the path by the River Clyde near Mauldslie Castle estate. Fiddled about with this in Photoshop to enhance the autumn feel.

Back in February I went on a brief location scout for my cousins wedding that I will be shooting in the end of...
Paid a visit to New Lanark Mill and followed the path towards the Falls of Clyde but didn't quite reach the falls. On the way back decided to get a pic of the boardwalk that runs along the riverbank for a stretch, especially liked the S bend in this section. Tried to add a bit of "mood" with a few bits n bobs in PS.
For some reason it reminded me of this song by the Waterboys, so pinched the title!
