Yesterday was a perfect day, sunny, crisp and clear.So I headed up the coast to the little fishing village of Amble. I've been after this shot for quite some time, yesterday was that time.

Amble is a town, civil parish and seaport on the North Sea coast, in Northumberland, England. It lies at the mouth of the River Coquet, and the nearby Coquet Island is visible from its beaches and harbour. The civil parish is called Amble by the Sea, and as of 2001 had a population of 6,044.
As we were in the area & Ian hadn't visited Amble before, we had a quick walk along the boardwalk & onto Amble pier. A fisherman kindly wandered...

Sunrise at looking out towards Coquet Island. I have no idea how many shots i have from this location? but i love it & will continue to come back!
A morning visit to Able in Northumberland & just after dawn the waves started to get quite lively crashing into the pier.
