Bay East Garden Marina Bay Singapore
This shot is taken at the Marina East park which can be accessed via Tanjong Rhu View or Marina Barrage by walking across the bridge. It is not advisable to park at the Marina Barrage during the blue hours as it requires you to walk through a construction site and the gate is open to the public only from 7 am to 7 pm. I learnt that the hard way, left stranded after my phootshoot, I had to walk to Tanjong Rhu before hopping into a taxi back to Marina Barrage to retrieve the car. However, a view like this is definitely worth the inconvenience!

This is shot with my new Canon 5D mark II, great camera but I require more practice to get it perfect. Expect more 'awesome' shots in the future :)

Telč, a picturesque, beautiful little town in the Czech Republic. With its beautiful baroque houses it feautures on the Unesco World Heritage List. It is a little gem, definitely worth visiting.
Telč is situated at the south-west tip of Moravia, half-way between Prague and Vienna. According to legend the foundation of the city is associated with the victory of the Moravian Prince Otto II over the Bohemian King Břetislav in 1099. It was this victory that meant the building of a chapel, later to become a church, and a settlement which forms today’s Staré Město (Old Town). In 1992 Telč was inscribed in the UNESCO List.

In the second half of the 14th century a Gothic castle was built in Telč, and one hundred years later in 1550 it was expanded and then renovated by Zacharias of Hradec, who had the old castle rebuilt and widened with the newly built Renaissance palace. Telč Chateau is now one of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites.
The indoor stadium of Singapore, again a very majestic type of architecture. Seen from certain views, it looks like a spaceship. Did I suffer that day, it was very hot, not much locations with shadow. There was a shopping centre just next it, where I could take some refreshments from time to time. Got some more different views of this building, that's for later.
The ECP or East Coast Parkway is an expressway that runs along the southeastern coast of Singapore. Marina Bay was very calm that night, no wind, no ripples in the water. What a sparkling shot.

Lednice is a village in South Moravia in the Czech Republic. In 1996 it was inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List (together with the twin manor of Valtice) as "an exceptional example of the designed landscape that evolved in the Enlightenment and afterwards under the care of a single family." It contains a palace and the largest park in the country, which covers 200 km2. Since Lednice first passed into the hands of the House of Liechtenstein in the mid-13th century, its fortunes had been tied inseparably to those of that noble family. The palace of Lednice began its life as a Renaissance villa; in the 17th century it became a summer residence of the ruling Princes of Liechtenstein. The estate house – designed and furbished by baroque architects Johann Bernhard Fischer von Erlach, Domenico Martinelli, and Anton Johan Ospel – proclaimed rural luxury on the grandest scale. In 1846–58 it was extensively rebuilt in a Neo-Gothic style under the supervision of Georg Wingelmüller. Information taken from Wikipedia
Gardens by the Bay (East) Tanjong Rhu, Singapore
It has been a long time since I last posted a blue hour cityscape shot. Hence, I decided to revisit one of my all time favourite location, Gardens by the Bay (East). This stretch of nature reserve along the shore of Marina Bay, provides some of the best views of the city. It is also relatively quiet and free of tourist, making it a great spot to jog, cycle or even have a romantic date!
There are four jetties located alongside the Benjamin Sheares bridge, which provides great foreground interest and leading lines. As my regular viewers would know, I have an obsession with jetties. Therefore, photographing these jetties has always been in the back of my mind. I am glad to be able to finally accomplish this task.

Just before sunset started, I was having a drink at the Changi Sailing Club. The sun started to tone the clouds. I grabbed my bag to go to the walk, on the way I quickly took this shot.
I already upped a color version, I wanted to try a BW version of this shot.

A beautiful view accompanied with a terrific sunset was setting for this shot. The only downside it seems was the lack of lights on the buildings.

While traveling through Singapore, someone told me I had to go to the Changi Boardwalk to capture the sunset. He was right, it is a stunning spot. Apparently for fishing too.
