Southwest Conservation Area

Southwest Conservation Area is a vast wilderness area located in the southwestern part of Tasmania, Australia. It is a protected area that covers over 6,000 square kilometers of rugged terrain, including mountains, forests, and rivers. The area is home to a diverse range of flora and fauna, including rare and endangered species such as the Tasmanian devil and the wedge-tailed eagle. For photography enthusiasts, Southwest Conservation Area offers a wealth of opportunities to capture stunning landscapes, wildlife, and natural wonders. Some of the most popular photography locations in the area include Lake Pedder, the Gordon River, and the rugged peaks of the Western Arthur Range.
