Statue of Liberty
The Statue of Liberty is an iconic symbol of freedom and democracy located on Liberty Island in New York Harbor. It was gifted to the United States by France in 1886 and has since become a popular tourist attraction. The statue stands at 305 feet tall and is made of copper, with a torch held high in one hand and a tablet in the other. Visitors can take a ferry to Liberty Island to see the statue up close and even climb to the top for a stunning view of Manhattan.
