Pillars Of Strength
Pillars Of Strength
by Alec Lux

Walking around in Singapore, not far from Clarke Quay, I found this building. It had an interesting look with those 2 giant columns pointing to the sky and its huge entrance hall. I tried several compositions, but this one is the most apealing. If I remember well, it is one of their hospitals.

Paragon Bridge I
Paragon Bridge I
by Alec Lux

This bridge is a connection between 2 buildings, close to the Apple store on Orchard Road. I really liked its design and the lighting of it. I made several different framings, each of them with a different processing.

Matrix I
Matrix I
by Alec Lux

I haven't yet much experimented with this kind of photography. It is something I appreciate a lot. A minimalistic framing of a repetitive pattern on buildings. It's a 2x4 pano shot, I cropped it into a square to get the most interesting part of it.

ION
ION
by Daniel Cheong

ION is the futuristic looking shopping mall on the right, newly opened on Orchard Road in Singapore. Taken during a photo outing with Hock How and Sabine.

Technical info:: 5 exposures digital blending + vertorama. My 11mm lens could not get the top of the two towers in the frame, therefore the only way was the vertorama and some aggressive and tedious distortion corrections!

Clark Quay, Singapore. Taken Saturday morning at 7:30am. The river was dead calm, perfect for those reflections!
