August 22 the volunteer fire dept in Adams set the old leaning elevator on fire and burned it to the ground, so unfortunately it is no more
Two weeks after we got these pictures, it was set fire and burned down. So it leans no more. The old wooden grain elevator was about 100 years old, had been abandoned for some years and began to lean back in the mid 1980's from what I have read. I know it was probably a danger, but what a unique photo opportunity it provided.
