Tikal National Park

Tikal National Park is a UNESCO World Heritage Site located in the heart of the Guatemalan jungle. This ancient Mayan city is one of the largest and most impressive archaeological sites in Central America, with towering pyramids, temples, and palaces that date back to the 4th century BC. For photographers, Tikal offers a wealth of opportunities to capture stunning images of the ruins, the surrounding jungle, and the abundant wildlife that calls the park home. Some of the best photography locations in Tikal include the Great Plaza, the Temple of the Jaguar, and the top of Temple IV, which offers breathtaking views of the entire park.
