Kegon Falls Nikko Prefecture, Japan
Light rains and mist diffused the harsh afternoon light giving a more balanced scene. The air was relatively still and I was surprised to be able to capture a good long exposure image by resting my camera on the handrails. Tripods were not allowed on the viewpoint. As it was the last day of the trip, everyone was tired and we decided not to venture down to the base of the falls. The skies were also threatening to pour. Perhaps a return in autumn will give more colour to the scene and add more interest.
