This photo was taken at Trinidad state beach in northern California. It's a great location with many compositional opportunities with all the rocks jutting out of the sand. As usual for this trip there was no dramatic light during sunset but I waited long enough to get this subtle twilight glow.
Besides Waterfalls and forests we also visited many of the spectacular beaches in Washington, Oregon and California. Despite many attempts we didn't get one really spectacular sunset due to the thik fog layer a few miles off the coast. The light was snuffed out half an hour before sunset usually and although I always waited for some afterglow to appear it never came in full force.
So here's a photo taken at Trinidad state Beach while the sun was still high enough in the sky to enlighten the scenery. The wave action was beautiful that evening and I had a lot of fun capturing them.
cheers
Yet another beach at sunset, this time Trinidad, California. Moments before it was busy with surfers going home and dog walkers, for a moment it was...
Thanks to all Phoide contributors to Trinidad State Beach!
