Two Jack Lake

Two Jack Lake is a stunningly beautiful lake located in Banff National Park, Alberta, Canada. It is a popular destination for photographers due to its crystal-clear waters, surrounded by towering mountains and lush forests. The lake is named after a packhorse driver named Jack who used to transport goods across the area. The lake offers a variety of photography locations, including the Two Jack Lake Campground, which provides a perfect vantage point for capturing the sunrise and sunset over the lake. The nearby Two Jack Lake Picnic Area is also a great spot for photography, with its panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and the lake.

Early morning Autumn Sunrise at Two Jack Lake, looking towards Mt. Rundle. After seeing so many lovely images of this mountain, this was really high on my wish list when traveling through the Rockies. Now I am so glad to have been able to capture it with some amazing clouds!
