Blue dawn in Avignon on a beautiful calm morning. This was the beginning of day two of my travels through southern france... a good start.

Un sentiero ben organizzato si muove tra rosse terre ricche di ossidi ferrosi che donano a queste terre infinite sfumature tra il rosso intenso ed il giallo paglierino.

Un sentiero ben organizzato si muove tra rosse terre ricche di ossidi ferrosi che donano a queste terre infinite sfumature tra il rosso intenso ed il giallo paglierino.
Immancabile tappa a chi visita la Provenza nel periodo di fioritura del profumato fiore (lavanda). L'abazia può essere fotografata da dall'esterno utilizzando un comodo muretto di confine. Le linee della lavanda in fiore e la particolare struttura donano alla foto un grande impatto.

...ce jardin est bordée de 4 galeries qui s'ouvrent par 12 arcades en plein cintre. Comme dans tout édifice Cistercien, l'austérité est de mise , les chapiteaux des colonnes, tous différents, sont simplement ornés de motifs végétaux.
