This was taken a little earlier during blue hour than my previous upload of this spot. In this case, I also decided to get rid of the canal boats that lie parked on the lower side of the view. Previous photo: www.flickr.com/photos/adelheids-pictures/29869931272
The iconic picture postcard view of Bruges during blue hour. Not only is this a great view, but it is one where you don't get masses of tourists walking through your frame, as you do almost everywhere in this pretty town. I was glad to be able to get this shot on a beautiful, warm Autumn day!

As with Venice (my previous upload), in Bruges it is important to start out early, in this case before the canal boats start messing with the water. The canals offer such great reflections as here on the aptly named 'Spiegelrei' (mirror canal).
The pier in Nieuwpoort, Belgium. Been there a while ago, but never been on the pier itself. Job done, will go again, I think there are some more interesting spots to grab some shots of it.

One of the classic views of the beautiful city of Bruges, taken in the morning before tourists and boats trouble the water.
Early morning in Bruges before the sightseeing boats destroy the reflections.
After getting a very nice blue hour shot the evening before, I decided to go back in the morning and capture this famous Bruges corner with the early sun before the daytrippers arrive. Interestingly, the colours are very similar to the previous blue hour. www.flickr.com/photos/adelheids-pictures/29869931272

So here is my second visit in Bruges, again I had a wonderful time. I made some great shots of this stunning city. The atmosphere is so pleasant, although it is very touristic, I tried to avoid this mass of people walking around. I went more to the outer sides of it. Enjoy the pics.

Ostend's coastal radar tower. It is located on the eastern breakwater, just at the port entrance.
I went last year to exact the same spot. This time I wanted a long exposure. I have been very lucky for that shot. The lights under the bench switched on, just the last 30 seconds of my 3min exposure. I just love the soft light under the benches. If I had them the full 3 minutes, it would have been way to harsh.

Brugge, Belgium
Kortrijk is evolving a lot the last years. Some stunning buildings and bridges took their place in the cityscape. This appartment block is one of their latest newcomers. I just love those shiny mirrors all around it. At certain moments, it's like we look through it.
