Wisconsin is a state located in the Midwest region of the United States, known for its beautiful landscapes, diverse wildlife, and rich cultural heritage. From the rolling hills of the Driftless Area to the shores of Lake Michigan, Wisconsin offers a wide range of photography locations for both amateur and professional photographers. Some of the most popular spots include the Apostle Islands National Lakeshore, the Door County Peninsula, the Kettle Moraine State Forest, and the Horicon Marsh Wildlife Area.
Is that right? Before I stand corrected I know that another piece of architecture bares the same name. I just thought this name for this image would be perfectly appropriate and it goes with what I feel when looking at it. I shot this frame back at the end of 2017 and editing this piece is way overdue. What do you think?
How do you feel about it? I’m seeing a ton of amazing winter shots, with some amazing weather from all around the globe recently. But here in Chicago we are experiencing different kind of weather. We didn’t get to see sun for good two weeks! Or maybe even longer, I don’t quite remember. Since there is nothing I can do about the weather I decided to shift my focus and do more night photography. What do you think?

“You see, I am trying in all my stories to get the feeling of the actual life across - not to just depict life - or criticize it - but to actually make it alive. So that when you have read something by me, you actually experience the thing. You can't do this without putting in the bad and the ugly as well as what is beautiful.” Ernest Hemingway

Have you visit this place? It’s both, source of visual and mental inspiration! And it’s a must visit place if you find yourself in the area. Milwaukee Art Museum is a hit and it’s very difficult to find a corner or the angle that is not photographed before. This is my take on this theme. What do you think?

Still in the same mood? While we are waiting for some fall color to show up in our city we are all venturing out to the places that still have that mood. Some of us travel far and some are shooting locally. Whatever it may be there is really nothing more interesting than starting the day with the warm morning sun shining on to the golden orange and red landscapes. It really is magical and sets the right mood for the entire day! What do you think?
Do you like to have a break? I really enjoyed being in nature, shooting nature and editing landscapes from October. This break was refreshing and I kinda still want to do more. I certainly hoping to find some more of it. This is one of the images that I took last week in Wisconsin while enjoying great company, warm apple cider and some fresh apples from a local farm. Nothing can beat that! What do you think?
What are your next travel plans? This is another shot from my recent trip to Madison (WI). Lovely rainy night and the reflections in the city were pretty darn good! I must admit that I took my artistic liberty to mirror the left side of the street because of the road work and demolition that was happening on the right side. It didn’t fit my vision so I apologize ahed of time to all that don’t like me doing that. Everything else is straight out of my camera ;) What do you think?

Is winter here? Less than a week ago we were still enjoying some nice weather from the previous season and it felt great. You know that wonter is here when IG nation rushes in to posting snow images. I personally like my seasons to transition slowly. What do you think?

How do you approach you composition? For me it’s pretty straight forward, I always think abstract. To be more clear, and I’m sure some of you will recognize yourself in this too, as a kid I never looked at the cloudy sky and saw clouds. I was always seeing shapes. Products of my imagination and implied shapes. Having strong shapes in you images can make a world of a difference. What do you think?
