One word that describe my mother perfectly would be relentless. As a child I was pretty hyper active and she was the person I remember always after me and my sister keeping us in the straight and narrow. My dad had a demanding career and used to travel a lot so she was our primary parent and I guess the quote is more than apt in my life except may be the angel part as far as I know she was a total badass.

Took this shot at the Cabrillo beach in near dark conditions. We only had a bit of a glow in the sky and the tide was slowly creeping up and I think this was the last shot I took here and it was a tricky shot as the waves were getting a little rough and I didn’t want my camera drenched in salt water spray. I used a 3 stop nd filter to slow the water down and used a log profile to get some interest on the rock in the foreground. So when I found this quote online, it sounded perfect for the shot.
