La cattedrale di Santa Maria Assunta detta anche duomo di Siena e situata nell'omonima piazza è chiaramente costruito in stile romanico-gotico italiano di cui ho soprattutto ammirato il continuo alternarsi di costrasti dovuti all'utilizzo di pietre nere e altre candidamente bianche, l'effetto dal vivo è stupefacente. Una piccola nota: avrebbe dovuto avere dimensioni ben superiori tali da inglobare parte della piazza a destra ma il progetto fu solo avviato e mai completato, sono infatti visibili delle opere incompiute proprio in quella parte di piazza.

This was just an incredible evening! The colors were slowly changing to this magic blue, the square was cleared from tourists and on the stairs to the dome an excellent duo was playing jazz. Felt like a privat concert at the most beautiful place of Tuscany. The camera on the tripod making some photos from time to time we enjoying the awesome atmosphere.

To be honest I found the sky too clear and replaced it with a more dramatic one.
