Dubrovnik, located on the Adriatic coast of Croatia, is a city steeped in history and culture. Known as the "Pearl of the Adriatic," Dubrovnik is a popular destination for tourists from all over the world. The city's stunning architecture, picturesque streets, and breathtaking views of the sea make it a photographer's paradise. Some of the best photography locations in Dubrovnik include the Old Town, the city walls, the Stradun, and the Dubrovnik Cable Car.

I had this view on my wish list ever since I visited Dubrovnik in 1978. So now finally I was able to take these photos. This is pretty much the view that you see on all local postcards and books, but it is not easy to find. One problem is that they keep building new houses against the mountainside which block out part of the view, another is shrubbery. All in all I tried out quite a few viewpoints, and more photos will follow.
