Old Town Square
Old Town Square is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Prague, Czech Republic. It is a historic square that dates back to the 12th century and is surrounded by stunning architecture, including the Gothic Church of Our Lady before Týn and the Baroque St. Nicholas Church. The square is also home to the famous Astronomical Clock, which draws crowds every hour to watch the mechanical figures come to life. While in Prague we climbed some of the towers, which can be found throughout the whole City. This view is from the large Tower at Old Town Square. It wasn't easy to get this shot. No space for a tripod so I had to balance my camera on the ledge of the tower while hundreds of people pressed passed. It was quite awkward shooting. I used my gloves to level the camera somehow and then while taking the photo I positioned myself with my hands firmly pressed to the ledge so no one could accidentally hit my camera and send it flying.
All worked out fine and after 45 Minutes shooting in the cold I went back in with some nice photos on my flash card :-)
