Same procedure as last time. Still going through the archives and still finding images worth processing. Again a first version, tomorrow or at the weekend I'll take a final look and do a print to see if I need to refine.

This year we went to the same place but the light didn't come close to what I saw that morning, one year ago. I will try again next year :-)

cheers

Edit: fixed the saturation a bit. Now it's more natural I think

The Dream Castle
Neuschwanstein
by Walter Maurer

The dream castle of King Ludwig II, photographed a million times, nevertheless it has not lost its attraction. I had the chance to do it too on a sunny day last autumn. Fortunately I found this nice point of view.

Neuschwanstein gehört heute zu den meistbesuchten Schlössern und Burgen Europas. Rund 1,4 Millionen Menschen jährlich besichtigen "die Burg des Märchenkönigs".

Today Neuschwanstein is one of the most popular of all castles in Europe. Every year 1.4 million people visit "the castle of the fairy-tale king".

Last weekend I did a short hiking trip to the alps and I climbed two mountains. The first day I went up the Grosse Klammspizte but couldn't stay till sunset because of approaching thunderstorms. So the next morning I decided to hike up another mountain at 2:30 after the storm had cleared. This is the view I then had up on the Heimgarten.

Make shure to checkout the Vlog I filmed for the trip. I hope I was able to capture a bit of the experience.
