Wetterstein and Mieminger Chain

Wetterstein and Mieminger Chain are two mountain ranges located in the Bavarian Alps, Germany. These ranges offer breathtaking views and stunning landscapes that attract photographers from all over the world. The Wetterstein range is home to the Zugspitze, the highest peak in Germany, and the Mieminger Chain is known for its picturesque valleys and crystal-clear lakes. The region is a paradise for landscape photographers, with numerous photography locations such as the Eibsee Lake, the Partnach Gorge, and the Leutasch Gorge. The area is also famous for its alpine flora and fauna, making it an ideal destination for nature photographers.

Here's a shot from our trip to Garmisch Partenkirchen last weekend. This shows part of the Partnachklamm a 80meter deep ravine in the german alps. It wasn't easy to setup a tripod there for shooting, because there were so many people visiting this place and the pathways leeding through the ravine were so narrow. So not much time for composition but I think this one turned out quite well. I will load up some more shots soon.

If you like you can visit my homepage and give me some feedback about it since I'm still trying to improve it -> www.mibreit-photo.com
