Richard Buckminster Fuller designed the then largest geodetic dome in the world in 1971. It was called Aviodome, and was used as an aerospace and aviation museum near Schiphol Airport.
In 2018, the dome was upcycled as the Amsterdome conference center and is located at Amsterdam-West.

This was Amsterdam in late May, when all cities were almost deserted as a result of Covid lockdown. There were no tourist boats on the canals offering some unique reflections. This is the Amstel River with the Magere Brug (skinny bridge) in the background.

One of the last moments to capture the Delta Lloyd buildings with the Delta Lloyd logo on it. Delta Lloyd has been taken over by NN, so within a few weeks the logo will be replaced by the NN-logo...
