Ayers Rock

Ayers Rock, also known as Uluru, is a massive sandstone monolith located in the heart of Australia's Red Centre. It is one of the most iconic landmarks in the country and a sacred site for the Anangu people, the traditional owners of the land. The rock formation is surrounded by the stunning Uluṟu-Kata Tjuṯa National Park, which is home to a diverse range of flora and fauna. For photographers, Ayers Rock offers a wealth of opportunities to capture its beauty and majesty, from sunrise and sunset shots to panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. There are also several designated photography locations in the park, including the Talinguru Nyakunytjaku viewing platform, which offers a stunning 360-degree view of the rock and the surrounding desert.

Uluru / Ayer's rock is a large sandstone rock formation in the southern part of the Northern Territory in central Australia. Uluru is sacred to the Pitjantjatjara Anangu, the Aboriginal people of the area. The area around the formation is home to an abundance of springs, waterholes, rock caves and ancient paintings. Uluru is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Uluru and Kata Tjuta, also known as the Olgas, are the two major features of the Uluṟu-Kata Tjuṯa National Park (Wikipedia).
