When the weather has turned manky, there are few better spots to go to get a moody shot than Ardnamurchan lighthouse. At Latitude 56° 43.6′ N Longitude 6° 13.4′ W it is (almost) the most westerly point on the British mainland. The real 'most westerly point' is actually a little outcrop just south of here. Ardnamurchan Lighthouse has been guiding ships safely through the waters off Scotland’s west coast since 1849. Although it was damp and dismal, it wasn't particularly windy so the waves weren't crashing off the rocks like they can do. Still it was a good spot for a moody image.
