Tobermory, the main village on the Isle of Mull is a picture post card with its brightly coloured buildings running right along the main street to the harbour. It was built around the late 18th century giving fishermen easy access to the waters of the Sound of Mull. Ferries run daily from Kilchoan on the Ardnamurchan peninsula and from Oban to Craignure which lies about 22miles south of Tobermory.
