This overlook was made famous by Ansel Adams and still offers a great view of the Snake River bend and Tetons above it. The trees now block the view somewhat and so it's no longer possible to have such a clean view of the river as Ansel Adams had.
Photo tips: Popular for sunrises, when the mountains get a nice direct light, but evenings can be pretty good too, if you manage the sunlight coming from behind the mountains.
