Argentina is a country located in South America, known for its diverse landscapes, rich culture, and vibrant cities. It is a popular destination for photographers, offering a wide range of stunning locations to capture. From the colorful streets of Buenos Aires to the majestic Andes Mountains, Argentina has something for every type of photographer. The country is also home to the famous Iguazu Falls, the largest waterfall system in the world, and the Perito Moreno Glacier, a natural wonder that attracts visitors from all over the world.
Early morning at Salinas Grandes, beautiful salt flat.
The glacier is located in the Los Glaciares National Park, Santa Cruz Province, Argentina. It is one of the most important tourist attractions in the Argentinian Patagonia.
The 250 km2 (97 sq mi) ice formation, 30 km (19 mi) in length, is one of 48 glaciers fed by the Southern Patagonian Ice Field located in the Andes system shared with Chile. This ice field is the world's third largest reserve of fresh water.
The Perito Moreno Glacier, located 78 kilometres (48 mi) from El Calafate, was named after the explorer Francisco Moreno, a pioneer who studied the region in the 19th century and played a major role in defending the territory of Argentina in the conflict surrounding the international border dispute with Chile
Despite that most of the innumerable glaciers worldwide are retreating as a result of global warming and climate change, one of the few unusual glaciers that maintains a state of equilibrium is the Perito Moreno glacier because it continues to accumulate mass at a rate similar to that of its loss.

Afternoon in the Puna de Atacama region usually brings a strong wind, which makes very interesting conditions at the Dunes of Tatón. The wind carries sand, which scatters and softens the light. The conditions just before sunset are amazing for photography!
You just have to be careful, as the sand gets everywhere and could damage your equipment. I didn't use tripod due to the wind and used two bodies in order to have both wide and tele-lenses, without the need to switch them in the dusty conditions.
All in all, a very enjoyable evening! The wind settled down soon after the sunset making the dusk better.
Getting there: The dunes are easily accessible by a dirt road from Fiambalá, about 30 km to the North. Local 4WD vehicles even drive right into to dunes, but it isn't necessary, you can park next to the road, walk few hundreds meters and find your favorite composition there.
Sunrise at the Balcón de Pissis, a beautiful viewpoint located at 4500 meters, overlooking several lagoons and mountains. In this photograph it's Laguna Negra and the snow covered Monte Pissis in the background.
Facing Congress, Congressional Plaza itself is dominated by the Monument to the Two Congresses, the work of Belgian sculptor Jules Lagae set on a Neoclassical esplanade designed by his fellow countryman, architect Henri d'Huicque, and completed in 1914.
Suffering from repeated vandalism in the years since 1983, particularly, a decorative gated fence was erected around the monument in 1999. The opening of the gates by popular demand in 2002 resulted in renewed vandalism, and a new fence was installed in 2006, during renovations on the monument and fountain.

Very nice stop on the Ischigualasto Provincial Park tour. Would be nice to do it on my own, not as a part of large group, but anyway this is a great place with amazing geological formations!
Last rays of the setting Sun created amazing light in the dusty and windy dunes.

Pampa del Leoncito is a fairly remote location, but it's very worth a visit! From surface of the flatland you have nice views of the nearby mountains.
Afternoons are usually windy here, but mornings are not, which makes them more pleasant for photography.
