Natural Bridges State Beach at Santa Cruz, CA. The park features a natural bridge across a section of the beach. It is also well known as a hot spot to see monarch butterfly migrations. The Monarch Butterfly Natural Preserve is home to up to 150,000 monarch butterflies from October through early February.
This location has been on my mind since I moved to CA for a sunset shoot and finally convinced my wife to make it to here to get the stormy sunset this weekend. Unfortunately we spend a little too much time capturing the Redwood trees en route and barely reached here for the sunset. I took this shot with the LEE 0.6 ND Grad and blending three exposures.
